PHOENIX, AZ –

Officials have released additional information concerning the motorcycle crash that happened on I-10 EB near N 75th Ave on Thursday, according to AZ Family.

Cristian Dorame, 28, was riding a motorcycle on I-10 when he approached slowed traffic and lost control of the bike while braking. He was then ejected from the motorcycle.

A landscaping van hauling a trailer was somehow involved in the collision.

First responders transported Dorame to an area hospital, where he died.

Emergency crews shut down multiple lanes of I-10 to clear the scene and investigate the crash. Intersections at freeway on ramps and off-ramps can be extremely dangerous.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.

6. Bell Road and 7th Street: Heavy traffic, frequent lane changes, and limited visibility make this intersection a risky spot for motorcyclists, especially during busy times of the day.
7. McDowell Road and 19th Avenue: This intersection has a high incidence of accidents involving motorcyclists, attributed in part to its heavy traffic and numerous commercial establishments in the vicinity.
8. Thunderbird Road and 35th Avenue: With multiple lanes and busy cross-traffic, this intersection demands extra caution from motorcyclists, particularly when navigating through congested areas.
9. Greenway Road and Cave Creek Road: Known for its high traffic volume and complex layout, this intersection requires heightened awareness from motorcyclists to avoid potential collisions.
10. Northern Avenue and 51st Avenue: This intersection can be challenging for motorcyclists due to heavy traffic and limited visibility, especially during peak travel times.
