TEMPE, AZ –

The Tempe Police Department is currently investigating a three-vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of 48th Street and Southern Avenue on Sunday, as reported by 12 News.

Emergency responders swiftly transported two adults to nearby hospitals, both suffering from serious injuries sustained in the accident.

Following the collision, authorities closed off roads in the vicinity to manage the scene and facilitate the investigation.

The intersections that connect with 48th Street can be very dangerous at all times of the day.

At this time, the cause of the incident remains unknown.
